BluEpoch

Is a project focusing on enhancing local communication in local communities. With the internet expanding every direction, it is often hard to find relevant local places to visit and events. By enriching websites with more precise information, functionality, and more effective promotion opportunities; we hope to improve the average internet user's ability to find local and relevant website resources.

We our currently in the planning process of setting up basic open sources solutions for businesses to launch their own website with minimal cost and time; through on-going projects, we aim to distribute quick tutorials and guides and other information on utilizing Open Source solutions.

By encouraging Open Source solutions, we hope to enhance the opportunities for individuals and businesses alike to communicate more effectively while maintaining open access to anyone and reducing costs.

Other aspects of this project are enhancing local business and community websites to allow anyone to find events, market local offerings, and communicate other opportunities in the area more effectively. We believe by facilitating communication on the internet, people and businesses can build a stronger sense of community and a stronger economy can flourish. Through working with local web developers and web designers, we hope to get as many local businesses online in 2010 as possible.

Theoretical Ontologies

This project is currently in initial long term planning. Its key goal is to explore and develop a core aspect of knowledge representation know as an "upper ontology" or basic set of symbolic concepts and axioms. It is being proposed as exploration of the limitations of language and symbolic representation. The initial project goals are to collect solutions to paradoxes in metaphysics, mathematics, linguistics, philosophies, and approaches to artificial intelligence in the chance that they may offer unique perspectives and difference solutions to unifying upper ontologies.
